Hand-Felted British Wool Footstool - Indigo Blue

From farm to finished piece, every stage of the felt-making process is completed by hand. The wool is sourced directly from a Cornish farm before being washed, carded, naturally dyed with indigo, and wet felted to create a durable upholstery fabric that celebrates the unique character of this remarkable natural fibre.

The wooden footstool has been carefully restored and reupholstered, giving new life to a quality piece of furniture while showcasing the beauty and versatility of British wool. Beautiful blue tones and the soft, organic texture of the felt make this a striking yet understated addition to both contemporary and traditional interiors.
