Hand-Felted British Wool Footstool - Marbled Indigo
Bring warmth, texture and timeless craftsmanship into your home with this one-of-a-kind handmade footstool. Upholstered in hand-felted British wool and naturally dyed with various shades of indigo, this piece showcases a beautiful blend of indigo blues and natural white wool, creating an organic pattern that is unique to the hand-felting process.
From farm to finished piece, every stage of the felt-making process is completed by hand. The wool is sourced directly from a Cornish farm before being washed, carded, naturally dyed with indigo, and wet felted to create a durable upholstery fabric that celebrates the unique character and beauty of British wool.
The wooden footstool has been carefully restored and reupholstered, giving new life to a quality piece of furniture while showcasing the beauty and versatility of hand-felted wool. Layers of indigo create depth and movement across the surface, with no two areas exactly alike. The result is a striking yet understated piece that complements both contemporary and traditional interiors.
No two pieces are ever the same. Variations in colour, pattern and texture are a natural part of the handmade process, making every footstool a truly unique addition to your home.
